Solarize Lewisboro-Pound Ridge is a unique discount buying program that uses a tiered-pricing structure, town-supported education and outreach, and a competitively selected installer to offer quality solar electric systems to homeowners and commercial property owners at a reduced cost. The more residents sign up for Solarize, the more the cost comes down—even for the first to participate. All homeowner contracts must be signed by June 5, 2017 to participate. (Commercial property owners can sign up until June 5 and have until October to sign a contract.)

“Solarize Lewisboro is a great opportunity for our residents to stake out their own place in the new energy economy in the company of fellow townsfolk. Saving money and going green – that’s a home run. The campaign is just the thing for those who have been contemplating going solar, but were uncertain of how to get started. In previous rounds in other towns in Westchester over 400 systems were installed, contributing 3.7 megawatts to the transition to clean renewable energy. We encourage Lewisboro residents to take advantage of the power of bulk purchasing to lock in low energy costs and add to that total.”
-- Supervisor Peter Parsons, Town of Lewisboro
“Pound Ridge is committed to environmental sustainability and home to one of the largest residential solar installations in the United States. There is growing interest in alternative energy solutions throughout the community, and Solarize will help make ‘going solar’ more affordable and convenient for interested residents and businesses. We look forward to a successful partnership with the Town of Lewisboro on the Solarize program.”
